Where JulieMay Started
JulieMay was born from the love between mother and daughter.
When Tiffany’s mother, Julie, developed painful rashes on her breasts after giving birth to her little sister. Trying to help her mum find some relief, Tiffany quickly realised there was almost nothing on the market that was truly allergy-friendly. As she looked into it more deeply, she found out that many women simply put up with daily discomfort because they can’t find underwear that works for their skin. She knew something had to change. That moment sparked an idea — and it became the beginning of JulieMay.
Leaving her law degree in Edinburgh, Tiffany set out to make the world's first elegant, hypoallergenic lingerie. From the start, sustainability and ethical production were non-negotiable. JulieMay continues to support various give-back programs and charities and encourages women to step into their power. JulieMay has grown into more than just a safe space for sensitive skin—it's now a place for support, learning, and helping women feel confident and empowered to live fully.
JulieMay was created to support women’s unique needs. We combine certified organic Pima cotton and silk with thoughtful design to ensure every piece is kind to the skin—free from synthetics, latex, and harsh chemicals. We've expanded our designs to better support specific needs like post-surgery recovery, back support, and ease of wear for those with limited mobility. Our goal is to provide lingerie that not only looks beautiful but feels right—supportive, breathable, and irritation-free. Because women deserve better. And at JulieMay, we’re here to make that happen.

Luxurious and Exquisite
With brief sizes from 8-18, and bra sizes from 30B to 40G/ 42DD, JulieMay has a collection for everyone with sensitive skin, or without.
Our collections have been scientifically tested and approved by dermatologists to be allergy-friendly, antibacterial, and hypoallergenic.
All of the products are made from pure Mulberry Peace Silk and GOTS certified organic Pima Cotton..
The bras inner cup and briefs’ gusset is made using silk, which gives a smooth and luxurious touch on the most sensitive skin. The gentle fabrics have not been treated with harsh chemicals or dyes, mixed with synthetic fibers, latex or exposed elastics, minimising the risk of irritation for those with even the most sensitive skin.
Sustainably and Ethical
All of Juliemay’s products are hand made that conforms to ethical, fair trade, and sustainable standards. They’re externally certified as water and energy efficient, with an enhanced workplace health and wellbeing and have assured us all tailors are paid above a living wage.
We believe that ethical fashion production is essential, and we are conscious of maintaining a low impact on the environment and a positive impact on the people we work with.
As a member of Greenspark, a global movement tackling climate change, Juliemay has offset our carbon, planted trees, and collected plastic. We also support a range of give back programs and non-profits.

The company was the winner of The Most Promising New Business of the Year, awarded by the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, sponsored by the Kent County Council. JulieMay Lingerie won Best Lingerie Brand of the Year at the London & South East Prestige Awards 2022. Juliemay was voted as one of Britain's most inspiring Firms by Small Business Saturday UK.
It collaborated with the University of Portsmouth, the Research Group in Breast Health, to study bra performances and breast health with leading experts in breast biomechanics.
